Awkward teenage Spike is always one of my most favorite speculative character interpretations.
 
I mean it’s pretty much just imagining Spike as his is right now in a larger body, what’s not to like?

Yeah this interpretation of grown Spike was an attempt at emulating the design of VanRipper, who did the flash for Like Fine Wine. Normally I don’t really care about >fanfiction but it was a super cute storyboard-like comic and had some pretty amazing expressions.  
I sent it to the artist of said flash but I should say publicly as well that this was the inspiration.

Even though I don’t agree with everything The Weaver does, I think he’s a pretty decent guy, and I trust him to thank or note any artist whose style he might be interpreting.
 
Other than that, another nice SpiLight image from The Weaver that allows you to leave it at the cute cuddling/snuggling/tickling scene as presented or add whatever you will happening “below decks” as you please.

I’m actually aware it’s a different artist, I just think Weaver borrowed the design from said flash.
 
Which isn’t bad, it’s a good design.

… I don’t think that’s just any Teenaged Spike.
 
I dare say that this Spike, showed up in one particular Flash.
