while this is overall better, i Miss dash’s rainbow wings from the originals.

Yeah, I know; and I love the show… Just saying this could have been handled waaay better. I mean, even the hair animation looked like G3.5 animation jiggles. shudders  
I just hope they spruce it up a bit if they ever mention it again.

What’s wrong with the “Friendship Express?” Face it the show was always basically a slight toy commercial. Just a very good one.
 
I also kinda wish other people would stop complaining about the show being “to toy-etic” lately. (Some even stopped watching the show because of that supposedly.)  
Aside from the Breezies, (which were from G3 MLP originally like Cheerilee, Sweetie, and Scootaloo, so they’re nothing new) and “Rainbow Power” forms seen in the show for 2-minutes, there really hasn’t been any other toys referenced this season.  
Well, aside from Twilight having wings, but that’s old news now.

Yeah, I know that. Same reason there’s that stupid train in the intro… and the introduction of Cadence, etc. But what I meant was that the IDEA wasn’t that bad; just the designs, which is up to DHX for the most part, I believe. Maybe Hasbro told them to shove the rainbow up our noses to get sales from little girls nagging their parents, but just exactly how much of it is their influence, we don’t know.

Their legs grew longer and their bodies are more slender.

To be honest, I actually like the Rainbow Power designs I hate to admit. I liked the huger hair, and such, which this picture kinda lacks, but it’s still good artwork.

Don’t blame DHX for the Rainbow Power designs, that is PURELY Hasbro’s toy department. The ones who brought you pink, vapid, giggling Celestia.
