Something I came up with for a fic. Basically, it’s pegasus body language, using wings. They touch another pony’s cutie mark with a wing/the tip of a feather, and this is like a silent “I like you/I love you” thing. It shows affection/interest without saying it outright.
That was just a rhetorical question I asked. But you have a point.
It’s rabid because it has haters who repeatedly post comments on pictures of a pairing they dislike, stating how they dislike it? Excuse me for pointing out the sheer stupidity of this.
And honestly, there’s a much bigger spam of SoarinDash, as stated, or even RariJack, which just completely exploded after S3. But people seem fine with that.
So, yes, the downvotes for appledash are just rabid haters who have nothing better to do with their time.
There’s no way to be certain that they’re the ones doing it, so… keep that in mind. They do look pretty suspicious however, I do think it’s safe to say that.
They’re sick with “Appledash spam” but OK with “Soarindash spam” that lasts for much longer. Now that’s rabid.
I dislike shipping personally, so count me out of this, but I would like to say that I’ve been seeing much more SoarinDash ‘spam’ than any other Dash-related ship lately.
And I don’t want to point fingers, but with it’s relative lack of downvotes in comparison to other Dash ships, I’d say there’s a fair chance that at least some of the downvotes originate from a few fans of that ship.
I’d prefer not to worry about it though, I try to ignore shipping. Just wanted to point that out.

Yeah, I don’t get those downvotes either. I may not support this pairing (No offense. You have the right to support it if you do.), but just because it’s AppleDash doesn’t mean it should get downvoted, especially when it’s cute and well-drawn.
Rabid appledash haters, that’s all it is.
