Y’know, I’m kinda dissapointed. The title of the movie is Rainbow Rocks, but I’m betting there’s not going to be a single rock song in the soundtrack-just a bunch of techno crap that every single modern kid is listening to.
 
In fact, you wanna know what I think would be great? If Hasbro decided to hire Ashleigh Ball’s band, Hey, Ocean!, to write the movie’s soundtrack. Wouldn’t that be awesome, you guys?

You have a very limited understanding of what rock is then. Rock isn’t just stuff like that. Rock can be anything from grunge, to hair metal, to up beat and poppy. hell, there’s like a hundred different subgenres of it.
 
Besides, there’s been some awesome bands in the nineties and new millennium. Like Breaking Benjamin, H.I.M., Disturbed, Andrew WK, Three Days Grace, Audioslave, etc.

Allow me to explain: The Nineties was essentially the beginning of Techno Music, however when I was a kid(I was born in`94 in case you’re curious) I grew up listening to Artists like KISS, AC-DC, Lynard Skynard, Black Sabbath, Van Halen, etc. So, basically, I know what rock music is because I experienced it. What’s in the trailer for the movie is certainly not rock, despite the movie’s title.
