Well orcs are a shamanistic lot I believe and zecora is shamanistic too. Then again as I was saying in warcraft the male orc’s /silly and /flirt have this “stereotypical black guy” vibe to them.

I think it’s mostly that the “black” character is being portrayed as a “savage” race like an orc.
 
Maybe a bit of a stretch, but that’s how I see part of it.
