“That didn’t sound very commanding. I know there’s a bold, strong, powerful leader in there somewhere… Let’s bring it out.”
I’m aware of that.
Still felt myself compelled to point it out.
The Artemis tag was already around when I named him, so I just ran with it. I kinda liked the whole sailor moon aspect to it too (which I believe uses the same spelling)
Artemis is a established female name too, though. Its corresponding masculine form is “Artemius”.
Bingo
@Marvelous TK
I am going to go out on a limb here and claim it was at least partly inspired by the Sailor Moon character of the same name.
Thing is, Selene is a very established female name, while Artemis is technically used gender-neutral. She was also a moon goddess - Selene was the moon, though, and so the primary moon goddess. Hecate was also part of the moon goddessry, by the by. Point being! If you’re going to flip the gender, grab a name that can be used for males.
Sigh Whatever, that barely makes any more sense.
I kind of forgot.
NO NOT MY FAVORITE PRINCE!
