It was his turn to choose where.
Fun fact: some things, like wood picnic baskets, especially flammable things, have an “auto-ignition temperature,” which is exactly what it sounds like.
Request from a IRL brony friend of mine. “Discord doing something with Fluttershy.” So why not a picnic?
Don’t worry, though, her tail may be burnt, but she’s fine, her tail extensions will just need a fix-up from Rarity (or by Discord’s magic)…

Does put a bit of a damper on the picnic, though. Ohwell, it would’ve been hard to eat through the helmet, anyways.

I’m also a Nerd, because also made the connection when I saw the Lava and Jupiter rising (or setting. I can’t really tell) in the sky.
At least he didn’t take her to Charon.

If the material the basket is made of has an oxidizing agent in it, then it could ignite in a vacuum :p
But, yeah. Yo right about that.
Maybe Discord put it on fire for comedic effect?
Or I did. Honestly I did :p And the fire looks like fire, ‘cause, well, people wouldn’t recognize it if I made it look appropriate for a vacuum :q
Also it’s a funny way to show how hot it is. I think if you did have oxygen there, it would be hot enough to cause it to burn (at least maybe paper. Heh. Fahrenheit 451).

That’s awesome! My favorite toy when I was little was this solar system thing where you could click different buttons and learn about the different planets. Then I played through this game , I was too young to get how to play it normally so I just used cheats and had a wonderful time exploring the alien worlds XD (there are levels on the Moon, Mars, Venus, Io, Europa, Titan, and a fictional moon of Uranus called “Achilles”)
Yeah, I liked learning about space, the ocean, and such sense I was a kid personally. I used to read alot of my parent’s encyclopedias, and such as a kid.
Where do you think I got the idea?
I’ve always loved learning about the solar system. I’m a “Physics-Astronomy” major, and next semester I’m taking a class (“Physics 227: Solar System Astronomy”) that uses calculus and covers the various planets and their atmospheric properties and things along that vein and I’m sooooooo excited!
“So Twilight, want to join our next outing?”
“You know, I DO love astronomy, but I’m not so sure about this one…”
God, I am such a nerd… I knew exactly which one of Jupiter’s moons this was.
I don’t blame her, though. I mean, yeah. It’s “Oh, yes, some nice grassy meadow to picnic on-” then suddenly freaking Io.
Ohwell. At least Discord has omnipotent-like magic, so she’s safe from a heart attack or anything serious.
Just close your eyes, Fluttershy, and imagine you’re in this suit, in a nice grassy, peaceful meadow…
