Like the Shadow Realm from the 4-Kids dub of Yu-Gi-Oh! Replacing death with Hell to protect the kiddies innocence!
“You Must DIE!!!”
POW! POW!
“NO! Not the Rainbow Power! It burns~!!”
A common misconception.
Yes, but PPG was rated TV-Y7, while MLP is rated TV-Y.
Actually, that epic battle between the Mane Six and the changelings featured lots of physical violence. About as much as the entirety of season four, in fact.
It seems harming animals and slapstick with friends is okay, but you can’t punch a villain….Oh come, she even hit the tiny kitten.
Seriously, man! She fucked those cats up, something awful!
Fallout: Equestria was first published in April 2011. Writing on “It’s About Time” was probably completed about the same time. I don’t think that line was intended as a reference.
If you’re referring to my latest reply, I was just complimenting Semi’s wit.
If it was the reply before, I was personally thinking that while the ‘epic pony war’ was a theory that has yet to be proven (Here’s to Season 5 c:), I see it as a subtle shoutout to Fallout: Equestria
…If it was the reply before that, I was just pointing out each occurrence of death throughout the show.
… Say what?
Ha! Nice XD
I stand by the belief that they used up all their physical violence privileges, in ‘Daring Don’t.’
That was nothing short of an unproven theory, though I personally see it as a subtle shoutout/reference to the Fallout: Equestria series.
Also ‘epic pony war’. Let’s not forget about that.
