For some reason I find that funny. (Must be the crazy face.)
Alas, this will never catch.
Because at most it may be cute or arousing, but not funny.
Nah man- the “Rarity fights a giant enemy crab” caught on, and a whole bunch of people started in on it.
This seems more to be the work of one idle, wealthy individual who really wants everyone else to get in on his OTP. A bit silly, but ultimately harmless.
Even so, I don’t see how “Twilight X Spiderman” is any better then the other crazy random pairings people come up with. (Awesome artwork aside.)
I’ll even go so far as to say “SonicXDashie” makes more sense, as those 2 characters actually do have some similarities. (Though, I prefer them as “platonic friends” personally. So don’t lynch me for saying that.) :P
Though, I suppose Twilight & Spiderman/Peter Parker do have some “geeky yet badass” qualities about them. (The original Peter Parker was more of a nerd my Dad said.)
They have to be not bat-shit crazy shippings, though.
Aaaand I just noticed we posted more then 30k comments combined on Derpibooru, holy crap…
Yeah, but I’ve seen well-drawn other-crossover pics that still get downvoted to hell. So it’s still a li’l baffling.
Basically, it’s because they’re usually very well drawn.

I honestly was never to into Spiderman personally. I liked the movies though. (Well “Spiderman 3” less then the others personally… Kinda made it a li’l to preachy, and messed-up Venom.)

Surprisingly, it’s one of the only crossover ‘ships on this site that doesn’t get downvoted to hell, or hated much.
Never understood it really, but this is well-drawn regardless.
