Yeah, that is weird. I’ve seen it quite a bit with artists that don’t quite know how a digitigrade leg’s joints really work.
Huh. Now that you mention it. But then, she is a robot. Probably has multiple configurations.
Yeah, there’s several ways you can draw anthro’ ponies.
One odd thing about this pic I just noticed is, one leg looks jointed like a pony leg, but the other looks more like a human leg.
I know. I’m going by the tag description on this site. Granted, going by that every pic where ponies are acting in a bipedal fashion could be tagged anthro but, and this is just a wild guess, since most seem to consider anthro as “human body, animal head” that probably wouldn’t fit into any preconceived notions.
Y’know, even the quadruped ponies in the actual show count as being somewhat anthropomorphic, as they talk, act like humans, faces are a bit more humanized then real horses, and do some things people do. “Anthropomorphic” can mean any animal, or object with human-characteristics. (Like “The Brave Little Toaster.”)
“Anthros are bipedal versions of four-legged creatures or characters and may have all hooves or hooves and hands or hands and feet, depending on the style of the individual artist. Anthros generally have tails and muzzles. Also boobs.”
Semi-anthro is when you have regular ponies occasionally acting like they’re anthro.
Hoof-hands can be a bit confusing on anthro ponies.
I give them hands, but hoof feet usually, so they retain some of their pony aspect.
Still, I think this is a pretty cool pic, regardless.
Yeah…I’m going to be honest, I don’t care for anthros having hoof hands…It’s too distracting and weird for me.
Again, this is a good pic. The artist did a lovely job and I commemorate their effort.
Oh come on, it’s not like anyone doesn’t know what breasts are.

She might be “anthro,” or semi-anthro here, considering how her legs bend.
Because X has breast armor.
This is still a wonderful pic though.
