I’d like to think she’s Mike; snarky, but simultaneously nice and mellow.

Also who’d be Dr. Forrester? Discord?

True, but South Park has sort of run out of steam, kinda needs to be put down (not as badly as Family Guy or the Simpsons, but yeah, it’s been on 19 years).

That replacement exec was probably the same douche who renamed it “SyFy” and decided wrestling was a good addition to the schedule.

YOU WILL BOW TO ME.
In relation to my love for “Tangled”, Richard Kiel (1939-2014) who voiced Vladimir (the one who collected ceramic unicorns) was in the MST3K episodes “The Human Duplicators”, “The Magic Sword”, “Eegah” and “The Phantom Planet”.

Comedy Central still has South Park walking that very fine line between pissing off everyone equally and making the audience think about current issues.

MST3K’s last season on Sci-Fi was green lit by someone that loved the show. His last act of kindness before he stepped down. His replacement had to wait a whole year before he could “kill that fucking puppet show”

Arise my waifus. Give ear to the words of Manos. Arise my waifus! And hear the will of Manos! (Oh, and iron my workshirt, too).

Twilight Sparkle: This experiment makes no sense.
Tom Servo: Heh. I hear ya, sister. But look on the bright side, at least we can tell how bad these flicks are.

“Wander Over Yonder” wasn’t bad, but I haven’t seen alot of it.
Never seen “Star VS the Forces of Evil,” or ever heard of it, especially, sense I don’t get the channel anymore.

“Though, of course, Gravity Falls, Phineas and Ferb, as well as the new “Mickey” shorts are pretty good, and probably the only good things on said channel now”
Well there’s also Wander over yonder and the brand new show star vs the forces of evil.

Yeah, it’s obvious they were trying to copy them…

It’s not just “Discovery Networks,” but even ones like say MTV (Music TeleVison) a channel that rarely shows music, or music videos now. And worst yet… Cancelled the revival of “Beavis & Butthead.” (The only good thing MTV has had on it in years.) I guess it didn’t appeal to those who liked “16 and Pregnant.”

And don’t get me started on the Disney Channel… Do they really need to rerun their tween sitcoms all night long instead of say showing classic Disney movies, (they even used to show some nice non-Disney movies) or old “Wonderful World of Disney” special shows from decades back? They used to have stuff for “all ages,” now it’s just pre-schooler, and tween-sitcoms mostly.
(Though, of course, Gravity Falls, Phineas and Ferb, as well as the new “Mickey” shorts are pretty good, and probably the only good things on said channel now.)

I think CN was trying to become like Nickelodeon and Disney Channel, but luckily the backlash nipped that awful trend in the bud.

Most channels don’t really have a focus anymore; you can thank reality TV and the fact that Discovery network destroys almost everything they touch. We see what happened to G4 (aka the “all-Cops rerun channel”), and Style got so far away from being anything to do with Style that they killed it and re-branded it Esquire. But I’m old–I still remember when Food Network had cooking show. I’m glad I still saved a lot of my old tapes…

You might have a point, also they didn’t have very many seasons of it sadly. (But the show still had a good run overall, and ALOT of episodes.)

And yeah, it’s odd how channels usually show things not related to what they’re supposed to show… (Like say how “Cartoon Network” for awhile started showing “CN Live” reality shows, and live-action movies, and such for awhile in the 2000s decade.)

Comedy Central did embrace the show, especially in 1993 and 1994 (when they didn’t have much else to show), but Sci-fi never quite “got” them, which is why they were on at 10am instead of late afternoon or late evening. I don’t think the Sci-Fi Channel has ever had a clear idea of what science fiction is (hint: wrestling is not science fiction).

Well, Bobo had his moments, but yeah, both versions of MST3k were amusing. And yeah, there’s some rumors that Comedy Centeral & Sci-Fi weren’t huge fans of MST3k, so some fans theorize that it was “screwed by the network/s.” (Though, they did do those famed “Thanksgiving Day” marathons, and such for MST3k. I like how Youtube brought back that tradition.)
