That didn’t happen until long AFTER Kimberly had been written out. The actual story arc where Kimberly left the show during season 3 of Mighty Morphin was surprisingly well done, actually.

Because Sentai does show respect for them, the last show even had one as the sixth main hero, with a mech that forms it’s own robot.

I realize Green/White Ranger Dragon/Tiger Powah(TM) is too legit to quit, but let us blame the true villains. Namely, scripters with no damn respect for pterosaur-based sentai nor fanbase alike.
