I was speculating based on the fact that there were several people present and helping out with the mayonnaise-pouring incident (and that phrase is even more pathetic once it’s typed out). $200 may be a lot to spend to troll the fandom, but spread out over 8 or so co-conspirators, they may consider it worthwhile.

You guys do know that’s a $200 custom plush, right, not one of those $10 spaghetti-hair plushes you get at Walmart? While I don’t advocate violence or violations of privacy, I do think banning the thief/vandal from all future fandom cons would be fitting, as well as charging him with petty theft. And if there’s sufficient proof that this is the stolen plush and/or the group of people with it know the thief, I think they should be banned from future cons as well.

So is there more than just one guy involved? There’s another dude walking around with the plushie in a carrier bag…And another man with the Shrek toy. O.o
