To me, it’s always looked more like the expression of a dog that’s trying really hard to be noticed (usually by getting in the way). I suppose that’s because dogs don’t really communicate emotions by facial expression.

These Inconvenient Trixies seem almost as inconvenient for Trixie as it is for Twilight. Most of them, her expression looks like she’s asking “How the heck did I get here?”
