It was on his Tweeter account after McCarthy received negative comments about Flash’s scripted, voiced cameo in S04’s finale despite her promises about Flash not being a character in FiM.
Jim revealed that Flash’s cameo had been forced in by “somebody” then admited that nobody should take seriously any future promises made by the staff and when he was asked about why there’s no FiM movie yet, he said that such matter was beyond his control, so if you dislike Equestria Girls you should vote with your wallet to send a message that Hasbro couldn’t ignore.
