And I suspect that Celestia has her own issues, of the “heavy is the head that wears the crown” variety, though she hides them well enough. (Whether that last part’s a good thing or a bad thing is debatable.)
Well her psychotic break resulted in an alternate personality… I suppose only Celestia and Applejack are exempt from the rules.
One can argue Discord, but I guess he could always be in a state of being perpetually psychotic.
Heck, the psychotic break thing even extends to Luna. Hence the whole “THE NIGHT WILL LAST FOREVER!” thing.

It’s in-character based around the premise of the story, and especially the idea of if Pinkie, as she had said before, thought this was some sort of dream.
Or if she had a psychotic break, well, all bets are off, then.
It might be an overreaction, but I can see how some people could find it cathartic.

I figured out Pinkie wasn’t right
in the headback when she punched Rarity in the first story.Because I believe this point in the story made clear that Pinkie isn’t in the right here.
That a clear majority of Deviantart members think precisely the opposite is difficult to understand for me, especially considering Pinkie’s internal monologue.
