Hot damn, that’s clever…although grilling Equestria!Flash for the antics of his humanoid analogue (in Sunset’s case, anyhow) seems a bit disingenuous. Cracking open the royal rulebooks for that call oughta be a pip.

That’s probably true. It’s hard to imagine them being in the same room as a shared love interest for longer than about fifteen seconds without things escalating to arcane fireballs.

Plot twist - Sunset Shimmer was impregnated by mirror-world Flash and has returned, has expectations of regular-world Flash. Argument involves accusations of hypocrisy because Twilight had trasnferred her affection for one to the other too.

I have my doubts whether either of these gals would be hot-to-trot enough to accept the other as a third wheel, so I guess he’s at least sneaky enough to initially keep such two-timing on the sly.

Well, he’s a brah, so that puts a limit on how much he worries about things. :) I think he just figured that if he could make it with not one but two of Princess Celestia’s super-hot Type-A personal students, he’d totally do it, no matter what happened next.
 
(And yet, I find his freak-out in >>641952 perfectly plausible. It’s one thing to be fine with this sort of thing in advance, another to remain calm when things are rapidly escalating into hate- and magic-fueled threesomes that may or may not end in the destruction of the universe, or worse.)
