Nicole Oliver took part in the ALC ice bucket challenge, with two of the BronyCAN attendees paying $500 (for charity) for the privilege of dumping the ice water on her (one of them is my friend , lucky bastard :)

Although it does give her mane and tail a blueish tint to them because of the water and ice.
There is a charity drive called the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge for the charity organization for ALS (aka Lou Gehrig’s Disease). The idea is that if you are challenged, you are either supposed to donate $100 to ALS, or you donate $10 and dump a bucket of ice water on your head, at which point you can challenge three more people. It has spread virally (including into the MLP cast, crew, and fandom).
Now we just wait on your little sister Luna, and Princess Cadence. Maybe even Shining Armor as well.
