Heh. That ain’t too bad, then.
We all got weird things, though.
I find myself strangely fascinated by individuals hanging… After a lot of self-investigating I finally found out why, though. I think it’s because it’s a sort of thing of anxiety relief, ‘cause if you were hanged while tied up properly (or a few other different methods of execution), you wouldn’t be able to do anything at all, and anxiety stems from “What do I do!?,” but when you’re hanging it’s just… Hang. So… Oddly peaceful, in that sense. All future anxieties, just… Gone.
But I’m not suicidal, though, so once I realized that that is why I liked hanging, I was able to find something else to fulfill that unsettling desire to find pictures of ponies hanging, like pictures of ponies relaxing or snoozing in general, instead.
I have to remind myself that the hanging idealization is just that: just an idealization. In reality it’s horribly painful, excruciating, and somewhat grotesque. Not to mention that suicide is an active decision so that’d invoke a crapload of anxiety and would be horribly cruel to everyone you know (it’s murder, you know. It’s murder of yourself, but it’s still you killing a human being).
But even if I were to be executed by some other force outside my control, I’d still have anxiety about either just giving in or fighting to the end (if I try to escape, what are they going to do, kill me?), at least until that last moment of dangling…
Nope. Gonna go look up safe pictures of Twilight sleeping, now, preferrable getting cuddled :p
Whoopsie doodle. Yeah I know it’s weird. Only works if it’s Scoots tho. No other pony does it for me, because I’ll feel bad for them, but not Scoots. It’s only fun when it happens to her.

Anyways, yeah, it’s a little disconcerting to see someone write that seeing another miserable makes them giddy, though; compassion/concern really ought to be the appropriate response…

To be honest, seeing Scootaloo being miserable in general makes me giddy.
And I also like how people get upset whenever She’s being depicted as such.
You may think I’m a sadist, but I think I’ve fanon’ed a bit too much and I no longer see Scootaloo as a child representing a dreamer defying the sheer adversity of reality. Rather, I see her more as a morbid joke reminding us of all that is wrong with the world. To remember the sheer helplessness we all have in the face of such widespread troubles that plague so many that are not ourselves….
Okay, I may be a bit of a sadist. Ha.
Okay, really tho, here’s what I don’t understand about the “hanging her for being cripple” thing. (Also applies to Rainbow Factory)
Okay, perhaps you could reply with; “but then she’ll spread bad genes to the gene pool” To that:
I mean, I hate to break it to you holocaust promoters, but “not being able to fly” doesn’t even seem like something the Nazis would execute a pegasus for. It’s not even as bad as a malformed foot because Scoots can still walk and run, even scooter, just fine. Just being like an Earth pony isn’t really too bad of a condition, in all honesty, it’s just a huge personal disappointment for Scoots because she grew up believing she’d be able to fly.
She’s really no more dis-able, though, than any ol’ Earth pony…

Why can’t people accept the simple fact that Scootaloo is handicapped and despite her inability to fly, is still a very lovable and active personality.
