-is demonstrably stronger than Rainbow Dash, the best athlete in Ponyville, which she herself admits  
-lifts a four poster bed with her forearms  
-lifts a carriage, with a pony in it, with her back  
-easily carries a table by herself that two other male characters struggle with  
-stops a massive bus full of ponies going down a hill at breakneck speeds with her hind legs  
-In Appleloosa, Applebucking requires multiple ponies to perform, and Applejack does it by herself, all day long, and still clears all of the apples out of a tree in a single kick after not sleeping for several days  
-falls three stories onto her face, multiple times, and walks it off  
-chops a 5-foot diameter black vine in two by closing a window over it  
-plows a field by herself, while running  
-pushes a giant rock to defeat a timberwolf  
-is by far the most naturally competent of the power ponies  
-discorded AJ doesn’t count, since she never once tried to attack another pony directly, or even attempt to use force to defend herself as far as we saw, giving us no information about her capabilities.  
-I’ve been on multiple farms, and worked construction projects and outdoor jobs. I’ve seen that because someone isn’t big or have a six pack doesn’t mean they aren’t strong as shit  
“gets called “little hayseed” by Trixie” - why would this even be relevant.
 
Time and time again, AJ is always shown to be very, very strong, regardless of her other skills, or how she prefers to deal with enemies. Not the strongest, but very strong.

I would say it’s going for a more realistic portrayal than the show, but looking at Big Mac here, I can’t be sure.
