Yeah. That line in italics is what popped into my head when I first saw this scene. I blame having seen that Critic and Nerd collaboration video beforehand.

And that’s exactly what happened. Massive feedback.
In the trailer, the scene that immediately follows (very possibly in the movie too) is the Mane 6+ SS wincing to something (we don’t see or hear it). It certainly could be the mic feedback for exactly that reason.
