RC tastes like bootleg Pepsi, and I think everyone here knows how I already feel about Pepsi.
I said fire. She doesn’t need to stay close enough to burn to cinders, yo.
She isn’t meant to stay long then. It gets cold at night without a sleeping bag, and you could freeze to death in some climates.
She doesn’t sleep. She waits.
Not saying Brisk is bad, it’s just not my favorite throwback tea.
Yes, but how many times have you heard someone say, “Hey, dude, come over to my house, I have beer and Lipton Brisk,”?
Pepsi owns Lipton Brisk, I believe.
I see Live wire a lot around here.
What I would really like to try is Live Wire.
I miss Distortion.
The reason Voltage stands out is because no other company has tried a blue raspberry flavor for their soda. Literally, Citrus is one of the most overdone flavors for soda. You would think that cola would be, but Coca Cola dominates the market, and hardly any other company tries to compete, save for Pepsi, who only stays in the ring thanks to, you guessed it, Mountain Dew.
Not to start anything, but percentage wise, Coca Cola won as the most recognizable and most enjoyed beverage globally. I forget the percentage that it beat pepsi by, but it wasn’t too much. Perhaps only 20%.
Long story short, Pepsi does Citris flavor much better than Coca Cola. This is something as a Coca Cola fan, I find hard to admit since there’s much controversy. However, I for one find Coca Cola’s Mellow Yellow to be less favorable than Mountain Dew.
Coca Cola also dominates in the tea catagory, with their Gold Peak tea. It has received so much feed back, and most of it from Arizona fans, who find Gold Peak to be much better when they have a flavor they’re looking for. Sadly, Pepsi has yet to make any tea, and has certainly lost most of the shine it had back in the 1980’s. Pepsi, however, leads the market in Citrus by a landslide. Coca Cola leads the market in Cola AND has heavy advantages in Tea.
In the end, it comes down to who you want to support financially, since anyone will find at least one beverage they enjoy from every company.
Supernova was a G1 dewmocrocy choice, it was a bit better then revelation, but didn’t quite win. during the 2nd they brought it back for a limited time.
The best that got voted. Distortion was the my favorite. White that Somehow one I thought they really try to pander as a “Girl’s soda” because it was smooth unlock other soda. What are you talking about Mnt. Dew was always Smooth! They messed up big time and it showed with White being discontinued a few months.
Code red has always been up, but stores rarely buy it since, when you think Mountain Dew, you think citrus. However, I’ve never seen Live Wire or Super Nova.
I know that the winner of one was Voltage, which mainly had a blue raspberry flavor, with a hint of citrus.
The competitors for that competition were Voltage, Distortion, and White out. Distortion lost because of the major disadvantage of being too similar to the original Mountain Dew, while White Out and Voltage both had unique flavors. Voltage won because, quite literally, fans started saying that White Out almost tasted like Sprite.
Two exclusive flavors, only served at Taco Belle, are the infamous Baja Blast, and most recent Sangrita Blast. However, Baja Blast is starting to be commercially sold in twelve packs.
The main flavors, which are ones that specifically come in bottles, can be found here. http://mountaindew.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Flavor
While Mountain Dew does have a lot of flavors out there, and most of them being more region specific, they’ve also had a lot of flops in the mix. For one, Mountain Dew’s quite well received line game fuel was discontinued because you could only get it in certain areas, making the gamer fuel popular among those who could get it, rather than the majority who couldn’t. Many diet flavors have also been discontinued for the same reason.
Even some really good flavors were discontinued either because they weren’t sold internationally, or they weren’t something fans wanted. A plain example is Distortion, which only has 16% of votes in the second DEWmocracy. It failed, and kept failing despite attempts to save it by the company. It simply was too similar to the original, making it unnecessary and unwanted.

ikr, it’s the best imo
Wasn’t there also a light-blue one that won one of the contests? …Actually, I think most of the contest winners are only out for a little while (and I’m guessing Super Nova is one of them).
…Actually, I think both Code Red and Live Wire got taken off the market for a few years…
