u cant disrespect a uniform, its a thing it dont have feelings, and you wont disrespect the dead, they dont care because they are dead.  
War is a messy tool for negotiation between nations. It ends if one party got what they wanted or untill the losses are more than the wins you would gather, Hate is just a tool to kep the war ongoing, same for idialistic and patrioism, also the panic over terriorism is used the same way today,well it is a threat after all.
 
i can understand that the army have standarts for the uniform.

I’m a Non-Commissioned Officer. It’s my duty to correct deficiencies. And blatantly disrespecting the uniform that young men and women have died in is certainly that.
