@MezzoDragon
Here’s a better answer: the show places an emphasis on cutie marks. We know which ones apply to what characters. Thus, bands get identified with their own version of a cutie mark.

Fine. Whatever. I don’t care anymore. Just ignore me and my absolute stupidity. Meanwhile, I will continue to consider this lazy because I clearly have a single-digit intellect quota.
@MezzoDragon
Neigh, the least expensive thing to do editwise is dubbing. If the words move, that’s more than one frame you have to redo which usually ends up looking like the words are floating.
@OneOverTwo
Changing a few words is expensive? That sounds ridiculous. It’s a simple process of erase then replace. Considering everything else, it should be one of the least expensive things to do.
@MezzoDragon
It’s not just the foreign audience. A good chunk of the MLP target demographic are little kids who are pre-literate. By avoiding putting writing in the show, they’re making sure the rugrats aren’t missing out on anything.
Flash Senrty Hes Bean A Bad Sport
Sorry. In the three months I was gone, I completely forgot about that.
Sorry.
Good God man! Don’t overblow this.
This is a better answer.

Editing onscreen texts gets expensive. That costs money you know.
Perhaps, but I’ve seen plenty of other series translate the visible text or keep it in its original language.
Regardless, I will continue to consider the usage of emblems instead of words to be lazy.
Derpy carried you guys, git gud.
It’s efficient!
That sounds lazy.
