In a republic, the people elect officials to deal with the job of governing while they get on with their lives. Both the US and Great Britain are examples of this. (Although the US employs several democratic principles.) It’s fair to say that the NLR would function similar to the British system. A monarch who would either have an equal vote on bills put forth or similar to the queen who would be mostly a figurehead but have something of a nay/yay on bills. Or would act something similar to either the US president, in that they would act as an executive, making sure that laws were enforced. Just because she’s royalty doesn’t mean that the system would be inherently corrupt.
