Those armor suits fit them so well!

I wonder if Rarity designed her own! Looks very stylish.

I don’t really ship RariJack, because I’m a Spike fanatic and Rarijack means heartbreak and pain for the baby dragon in my eyes (well until he hooks up with someone else, even the CMC, though IMHO any of those three ships is so old and overdone; too much of the ‘go for the sister’ trope for my taste, especially with Sweetie Belle or Applebloom)
 
However there are exceptions, and this is a really good example of it. It even reminds me of the story “It’s a Dangerous Business” because what you made for Rarity’s armor is a lot like how it’s described as Princess Lala of Shimmerwood (a deer society) gifts Rarity with it, and the armor on Applejack gives me images of when she, Rarity and Rainbow Dash journeyed to the neighboring country of Gillymeade (a land of exclsively earth ponies) and she earned their battle armor.
 
I give this a solid 8.5 out of 10. I assume that Dangerous Business was one of the inspiraitions for the image.

My only problem with this is that the banners are on the opposite side they should be.
 
Any Harwick drawing involving Applejack is still a good one though.

Now I’m imagining AJ going clankclankclank and Rares whining complaining about rust.

This is way too gorgeous not to have more upvotes. Look at the dents in Applejack’s armor. That’s attention to detail!

Of course Rarity goes for style while AJ goes for practical.
