I don’t think it’s even a mistake. There’s nothing aerodynamic about a pony, so having one move as fast as Rainbow Dash is already obviously a magic thing.

Her Cutie Mark may not change, but the fact there’s energy channelling through it suggests that something incredible is going on inside her.

Vapor Trail is best pony

I can’t be the only one that sees the huge logical fallacy in trying to do a sonic boom while wearing an open hoodie. The drag generated by the hood would act like a large airbrake.
I know this is magical pony-land, but still…
