The two of them quickly ran back inside of the cottage, the cold finally catching up to them. They slammed the door shut behind them, both giving a sigh and a shiver as the heated air of the cabin slowly warmed them. Both of them needing a little more warmth, they walked over to the fireplace in the den of the cozy locale, the mares throwing a few more logs on the fireplace before huddling up on the couch for a snuggle session.
 
After a few hours, and few good dozen pages of a novel the two of them were reading together, something came to the unicorn’s mind. She stood up from the couch, telling her partner that she needed to get something from the bedroom quickly and would be right back. Twilight gave a simple nod and okay, but it seemed to be more of a reflexive response, her eyes still scanning through the book. With a giggle, the ivory mare was off to put her plan into motion.
 

 
After a half hour, the young princess finally realized that her marefriend had gone off for a bit longer than just a second. Wondering what was going on, she finally got up and made her way into the bedroom. She walked down the hall and pushed the bedroom door open. She didn’t make it more than four feet in before her loving partner jumped out and smacked a kiss right on her lips, surprising the lavender alicorn.
 
With a blush, she pulled away, asking the other scantily-clad mare what that was all about, to which she pointed above them. No mistaking it, a piece of mistletoe was hanging from the roof on a ribbon. Not needing any other excuse, the two mares pulled themselves back into the kiss, docking themselves as close as they could to make sure it was their most passionate one yet.
