I think you can relate them as counterparts of Twilight and Pinkie Pie. It may not be canon but the chemistry for them seems possible. Twilight was antagonistic with Pinkie Pie’s logic until she gave up in Pinkie Pie Keen. So I guess the Mauxie shipping can be said the same, only with Trixie and Maud.

I know how this ship spawned but seriously…how the hell would this work? These characters have polar opposites in personalty and unlike Pinkie Pie, Trixie isn’t related to Maud and therefore there is no reason for maud to even like her.
