Other than the sister part, that kinda makes them less plausible. They have completely different lifestyles. There’s a great possibility that they would recommend each other, but still. Rarity is a fancy girly girl, and AJ is a farmer who couldn’t care less about how she looks.

What do you say to those of us with a different reason for not backing the ship?I think they’d drive each other crazy, but for an entirely different reason: Dash can get pretty lazy sometimes, and Applejack would get sick of Dash loafing while she’s out there trying to put food on the table. And if AJ brought this up, Rainbow Dash would just feel like Applejack was nagging her. And from there, things could easily get ugly.

As far as Rarijack goes, I’ve felt for a while that they may be different as night and day on the surface, but underneath it they have a surprising amount in common. Both are strong-willed and hard-working, both have a business they consider their life’s work, as well as a younger sister they care for very deeply, I’m sure there’s better examples but I have the brain fuzz today.
