Twilight does have a pretty forgiving nature (e.g. Sunset, Discord or Trixie) but if you really push her too far, she will not hesitate to kill you. This dive-bomb moment confirmed it again. If she truly considered to give him another chance, she could have stopped after the meteor smash move. However as seen in the above gif she was going to finish him off once and for all.
No kidding. The sheer rage on her face throughout the entire fight makes it plain as day. That, and her opening blast was clearly meant to be a kill shot.
