The Equestria Girls universe probably has Spike hard-coded as a dog, if the EQ Twilight and Spike went through the portal to Ponyville, human Twi and dog Spike would probably turn into a unicorn and a baby dragon. I am rather curious what other universes the mirror portals can visit, the IDW comics had some fun with it, like the dinosaur world with Fluttersaurus-rex. But the IDW comics kinda messed with the ‘pony steps into portal and comes out a different creature themed to that particular universe’ but at the same time I do enjoy stories revolving around adventures exploring different strange universes… So, I enjoyed both of the Equestria Girls movies and the IDW comics also.

Did you watch rainbow rocks if so did you not see the scene at the end of the credits that showed the real human twilight and the real dog spike that didn’t talk?

You know, I often get the feeling that Spike gets portrayed as a dog in the human world because there’s ALREADY a human counterpart of him somewhere, and the mirror’s trying to balance things out. Reason Twilight and the rest of Equestria’s inhabitants who remain human is because they don’t for some reason.
 
In other words, I’m pretty sure if any of the main cast were to cross over, they’d be dogs or something of the sort too. ANd in case you don’t believe that the mirror would do that, then why did it give Twilight perfectly sized human clothes? :)

Oh hey, it is Tuesday. But I won’t be having any tacos.

And that’s terrible.

And so Sonata and Spike traveled all around the world delivering tacos to all the good carnivores and omnivores.
