Not true. The direct approach would be futile, but causing a crisis elsewhere that she’d need to deal with, then getting rid of the magazine while she’s gone might work. It also might get you banished and then thrown in a dungeon in the place where you’re banished to.

Anyways, gold plated or not, knowing Discord, he’d make that thing a metric ton just to screw with the two of them. And they’ve got to drag that thing around, if not keep it afloat.

The wife toss is what I base it on since its a canon application of his strength, the rest is just assuming the captain of the guards is a well-built colt. And that’s pretty much all I need to know about HIS physical strength. His strength is probably around equal and/or greater then his wife and sister. The 3 of them aren’t going to out-muscle Big Mac anytime soon, so trying to budge Celestia is an effort in futility.

As for Shining’s own physical strength, on what do you base it? The only time he’s shown to use it is to launch Cadence in the Epic Wife Toss.

While the initial imagery was intentionally hilarious, its obvious the thing is floating and being pulled watching it the second time around.
 
Cloud or not though, pulling a thing for hours to the borders of explored Equestria would naturally make any two ponies tired. But Twilight’s a bit more fit then Cadence due to all her adventuring.

I know she was partially drained(as she had just enough energy to heal Shining and use a single evil banishment spell along with Shining’s shield spell), but as it wasn’t even budging, one can see she doesn’t have any super strength, and neither does Twi. Neither have shown any kind of super strength. Most ponies could of pushed the cart while healthy, so their strength is around average.

Cadence couldn’t push the cart, as spending days in the cave had drained her. Twilight could push it, as she had been down there only for a few hours.

From the thumbnail it looked like shining was on a leash… it’s not though :c

We saw their physical strength fighting against the worm and other events…
 
..so basically alicorns like Twilight and Cadense don’t have that kind of strength that Celestia and Luna have. And remember Cadence pushing the minecart way before that? Shining is still physically stronger then both her wife and her sister, princesses or not.

“… Oh, Luna have to see this! Sorry, Captain, play time is over.” *yanks trope, sending Shining flying over the horizon*

Still it might be a little emasculating for Shining when one day both his wife and little sister will be able to literally drag out the captain of the royal guard to some shopping place and there will nothing he can do about it.(Also they will probably make him carry all the bags even if telekineticly)

What happens when an immovable object meets the force of Shining Armor. Not much apparently.
