Well yeah, but other than that I can’t really remember anything of the top of my head.

Well, it can’t for three simple reasons. One, liquid fuel can’t burn in space, since it need oxygen to do so, two, it doesn’t have a life support system, and three, it’s not fast enough to break free of the atmosphere.
You know, it may be because I haven’t seen the movies in a while, but I don’t remember the Empire doing something truly evil. I mean sure, they had Siths and we’re against the heroes, but I don’t remember them killing civilians or anything that makes you say “Oh shit, these guys are like space Hitler”.
No but I can travel from the Hoth System down to Degaba in a few Hours in Hyperspace. I doubt an F35 could do that…
And in my (Albeily twisted), headcanon. The New Lunar Republic, is a take on the Galactic Republic. Where Celestia is the Emperor, and Twilight is Vader. Luna is Luke, and Cadence is Leia.
Is the T-65 even that good in atmospheric combat? I mean, it has transonic speeds, has a manual targeting system, and the proton torpedoes have a range of only half a kilometer, compared to the AIM-9, which has a range of one to thirty-five kilometers.
I mean seriously, those things are severely underpowered compared to a modern fighter plane.
I hope to One day pilot an Incom T-65 against the Solar Empire.
