I mean, don’t get me wrong, the heresy not happening is heartwarming and wonderful stuff that would make the galaxy a much better place to live for everyone.
 
But…the idea of young Twilight interacting with TTS Emperor is hilarious to envision. Come on, tell me the idea of the emperor trying to watch his language around a younger twilight ISN’T hilarious? Or even her meeting our dear Lord Adorable.
 
It’s a cute and comedic gold-mine waiting to happen I tell ya. Besides, that version of Magnus deserves a win at this point.

That probably after he became a daemon primarch. The process takes the subject’s soul and replaces it with warp energy, which is just raw soul stuff, making them more powerful but less stable.

Twilight: Why thank you Lord Magnus .  
Magnus: Well you show great promise in the fields of magic. I believe you will be a truly great unicorn mage one day.  
Twilight: Oh thank you Lord Magnus! It means so much to hear that from somepony like you!(hugs his left leg)  
Magnus: (looks down at her in surprise) (he’s touch by her showing any kind of affection or real kindness toward him)(tears up and hugs her back) Thank you Twilight.

Now I’m genuinely curious to see what would happen if Magnus met Twilight.

Magnus would absolutely delight in a student as diligent as Twilight.

I still remember a friend of mine describing Magnus as a human (or in this case pony) shaped balloon full of Warp Magic
