Description

In the end the brony fandom is filled with weird people… autistic people, shy people, SoCal geeks, hipsters, artists, musicians, writers, trolls, white nights, gays, bisexuals, pans,aces, jerks, friends, the tasteless, liberals, conservatives, religious types, atheists… It seems like anyone can be a brony.
The concept of a serial killer brony scares me.
Because I use the fandom to meet new friedns. I have even met a few of them in real life.

I never imagine serial killers as being really artistic…
I always see them as one of those trolls that never comes up with anything original. I don’t know… Like a Jeffery Daumier sort. Poor through shear apathy, socially and sexually repressed, a cocktail of phycological tendencies the create the perfect storm… Lurking somewhere in the fandom… Waiting to go to a con.
I don’t know, I am not an expert, I just woke up an hour ago freaked out, and now this is hear… Has anyone else ever thought about this?

I’m not giving up.
I’m pretty glad that despite all the dummies and clods we’ve seen throughout this fandom, we haven’t had to deal with a freaking Ted Bundy type of fucker.

most serial killers are friendly and outgoing, pleasant socialites who are easy to trust and relaxed around people. many are successful salesmen. charles manson was a pastor.

all of dahmer’s victims trusted him within a single day, and at least tried to have sex with him. not exactly your typical brony profile.

there was that guy who tried to gas a bunch of furries idk

OMG i was totaly thingking the same thing the other day, what if there is a Brony killer out there, there are manny people who hate us for some silly reason….

No he’s worried about a BRONY being a serial killer, not a serial killer who kills bronies.

oh i know that. the are prominent in our culture but rare in reality. idea of a human murdering others for ‘fun’, to use an oversimplified term, is very chilling.
Limabona

That would take us to a new level of drama.
Hmm… A fursuit could actually be the perfect disguise and they could smuggle a bunch of fire power inside of it. Do cons have metal detectors?

Well. Sweet dreams!

also serial killers are immensely rare too. though those who systematically murder others are always prolific to people, it is estimate that less than a single percentage of murders a ear have anyhting to do with serial killers. and that at most there are fifty people who are active serial murderers in our country. fifty out of a population of millions.

sooo many myths exist about serial killers. lot of hyperbole.

Y’know, a teenage actor in “Pee Wee’s Big Adventure,” became a murderer. I guess it’s kinda creepy to think about, but best not to get to paranoid about it. As somebody below said, you’re probably more likely to run into a murderer in a grocery store, and even then he’s likely not going to off you in public, or has any reason to.

As for all those brony-haters who give death-threats, and such, luckily they’re all talk, and alot of them are just as nerdy/wimpy as they claim bronies are.

@KrishnaKarnak
I’ve been afraid of flying even before 9-11. It’s actually because I have a morbid fear of heights.

@greaterlimits
I believe everybody is “weird,” it’s just what extent our weirdness goes to.

@KrishnaKarnak
and if it is any comfort. serial killing is barely 1% of murders to begin with. estimates say that out of the millions of people who live in the country, maybe fifty are actually serial killers. fifty people out of millions. and one of them being a brony is even less likely.

however guys who systematically murder other will always have far more prominence in our society, even if it is as rare as an honest politician.

Precisely. It’s like people with a fear of flying in Europe due to events in 2014. They ignore the tens of thousands of other flights over there that go off without a hitch and assume that air travel is no longer safe. Look what that mantra has done to the United States after 9/11.

sadly a freaky thought but ultimately, irrelevant. it could well be that there is a serial killer who likes mlp, but that oculd be true for one who likes pokemon, dragon ball, or anything.
likelyhood of encountering one online or in real life is immensely unlikely. even if there were a hundred serial killers who are bronies, there are thousands more who are not.

still it is just common sense to be cautious towards others.

Yes, the fandom has weird people in it. I’m one of them.

But that’s irrelevant. I am not going to worry about things which have no basis in reality. Is it possible theres a potential serial killer who likes My Little Pony? Yes. But there’s also Serial Killers out there who i’m sure who have played Xbox a lot. Should you be worried about people who own Xbox’s too?

There’s a little more to those sort of people than simply being weird.
