I’d think it would be very compromising to one’s sense of immediate surrondings, not to mention straining on the eyes in more than one way.

Fun fact, you’re not supposed to close your opposite eye while shooting, even when looking down a scope like this.

I like sniper and twilight in Pony and Mann.

The thing I don’t get about that is that it seems like it picks the smallest parts of the characters and focuses on them, rather than picking the biggest parts of them. I don’t think any of the ponies would want to make others suffer normally, Pinkie’s job as a baker takes the back burner (no pun intended) to her party pony status, and the Spy may wear a mask but he’s also extremely charismatic.
 
As for Twilight, if we’re going by the whole learning thing then there’s no class Twilight couldn’t fill, because each of them can account to intellectualism. Pacing and proper exercise to particular muscles for Scout, gun detail, material and cost for Heavy, chemical components and proper measuring for Demoman… that’s kind of why I look at it more in the terms of classes that are learning personified.

Also I referred as alot of them as hers becauseI saw the main 6 in that and not the TF2 group

This is part two to my little opinion.
 
I see Flutters being the Spy because the Spy wears a mask to hide his identity and has a cloaking ability that makes her invisible and blend in with the crowd to not make others stare at her and judge and I think if given these powers she would use them.
 
Pinkie I see her has the Pyro without a doubt with her knowledge of baking I can only see her being a fan of something that bakes everything. I can see her making those low deep mumbling noises just to be silly and slightly insane. Twilight I think would be a Sniper for…well Autumnshys reason I really don’t see her making them want to suffer. I can just see her sitting there with a book of Sniping 101 and getting headshots like crazy and the more she becomes better at it that will make her say some cocky comments here and there.
 
Outside of the main six I see the heavy being Bulk Biceps and the Demo being Berry Punch but I have no idea who the Rocket Jump dude would be.

I don’t think Twilight would be the Engineer because I don’t see Twily being the type to be getting oily and greasy and dirty. But I see Applejack having no problem with it. On the subject of Rarity I see her being the medic because she has to male things perfect stitch by stitch to the person shes healing and stitch by stitch by the clothing shes making. She also pays attention to multiple things at once more than anypony what with Sweetie Belle and all her dress making. So I think she would be the Medic also they seem to have the same glasses.
 
I see the Scout of course being Rainbow Dash because they are both cocky and fast and both I think would wear sports clothing and use a bat for melee.

That’s all well and good, but among the Mane 6, only Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie might lack finesse or patience. I say ‘might’ because either one seems to show off both when they really want to. It’s basically saying Twilight should be Sniper because why not?
 
From a technical perspective, the Medic and the Engineer would be the primary thought classes due to the intellectual natures of their jobs. Both build their own tech, are versed in technology, medicine, and mathematics to varying degrees (engineer can at least implant people with life extender machines) and have some degree of education.
 
From a gameplay perspective, the medic would win soley because he’s the primary observation class. You basically have to keep track of your teammates, know when to heal, run, uber, fight, and thanks to the fact his healgun works even if he looks away from his patient, he can observe his surroundings more effectively than other classes.

My take,  
Not so long ago, “Sniping” once took a level of finesse and patience not seen in today’s games. Supporting from behind the front lines and learning to make each shot count or risk paying dearly. I’m not saying you people don’t know what a sniper is, but I’ve seen far too many “Quick-scopers” who think you can do that in reality and be cool. It just rubs me the wrong way how true sniping in online games nowadays is just about pointless.
 
Twilight is a thinker through and through, and if forced to pick a class, I see her being a sniper, because she has the discipline a genuine sniper would need, not to mention she’d want the enemy to feel the least pain possible.
 
Lastly it’s my view that unicorns are more of a ranged breed, being able to ward off attackers with magic to make up for their lesser strength and speed compared to the other 2 races.

No, but there’s better matchups. The engineer, the medic, even the demoman considering he at least knows enough about chemistry to make bombs. The sniper doesn’t even have a vague similarity to Twilight.

Well they can’t all be Rainbow Scouts, or Rari-spys…

I never get this matchup… the Sniper doesn’t seem particularly smart to me. I mean sure, he’s a Sniper, but that’s pretty much all he has going for him.
