Description
I saw a lot of other pretty country ponies and since I have never seen a proper pony for Germany, I thought I’d design one. Introducing: Union Eagle.
This character is free to use for non-commercial purposes as long as, and this is very important, she is not used for any pro-Nazi bullshit.
Likes: Football, partying, eating, Schlager (a type of terrible German pop music …), traveling, literature, theater, wearing socks with sandals, hiking.
Dislikes: Intolerance, handegg, being asked if she likes the Oktoberfest.
Personality: She has a terrible sense in fashion and music but is very booksmart and crafty. She enjoys poking fun at her cousins (especially France and the Netherlands) but she actually likes them a lot, even though she probably never would admit it. She can sometimes be rather scary, but rarely on purpose, she just speaks rather loudly and her accent makes her sound angry half of the time. She is also a terrible dancer.

Yeah, the German flag has a rather … pony-incompatible colour palette :I
The trick is to desaturate the colours and change the black into a dark brown/red :O
Also, in most cases, artists simply put the flag colours/ pattern into the mane and leave it at that, but I wanted to go with a more show fitting style.
And I think it’s also important to properly cartoonify the crest for the cutie mark, most folks simply use the official one.
Especially, since it actually uses the colors of the flag, but doesn’t look tacky and awful. I didn’t even think this is possible.
