Yet despite not really living up to the norm, we still set the norm. The cultural force that is Hollywood and American Media cannot be denied. Only Britain and Japan come close to being on par.

Whoa ho there, I don’t think even the mos anti-american of us would say something that cruel. Nowhere is as bad as Tumblr. But America does seem to think they’re the default country, that they’re normal and the standard for others to follow. Not at all aware that they’re one of the only modern countries to still be SO backwards with the way it does things. They’re not the norm, they’re unique. There is no other modern country like them in the world.
 
So when they try telling others how to do things, it’s just, hilarious.  
To use a metaphor, (I love metaphors) They’re like an electric car with square wheels. I’ve seen less dissonance in a Final Fantasy city.
