Probably ‘cause it’s not very pony-related, (even if Pinkie cameos) and features some other series some people on this site probably dislike, or some just hate “survey,” or “crossover” pics like this.  
Sonic in particular has been a very “controversial” subject on Derpibooru, and has some passionate-haters here unfortunately, so he alone is probably the source of most of the downvotes. (Some just have a Robotnik-like hate for the hedgehog.)
 
Still, I don’t think it’s fair, as the characters, even Sonic all look well drawn here. (I mean I don’t care for “Avatar,” but I still upvoted the pic.) The only one I think that looks a bit odd is Finn. I do like the way Pinkie Pie looks.

I rarely watch the show, so I don’t exactly know. Perhaps I should find the time to pick up on it, since I underestimated the character development and the story buildup
