Disliking things is fine. Disliking things for questionable reasons is also fine. Then spouting those reasons like gospel and expecting people to buy it is silly.  
It’s obvious that you don’t want to read the comic series, and complaining about the design that is explained within the story as to why it’s a bad Twilight clone while loudly spouting you’ll never read said reasons…  
There’s more to a good OC than the design, let’s just leave it at that.

I don’t need to read a comic to see that visually, the oc is bad. I have eyes. Fangirling over a comic doesn’t make it any better of a character. Put your big girl panties on and accept that just because you like it, doesn’t make it good. If I had a checklist of what people consider to be the making of a bad oc, this right here would be inked up. I didn’t change my opinion and throw in the bit about the colors just to make myself seem right. That was one of the biggest bases for my original complaint, I just didn’t elaborate on it originally.
 
No, I don’t have to like it. I don’t actually, because it apparently has a serious circlejerk of a fanbase. By the way, even the name is edgy. “Seeds of Darkness”. How about “Shadow of Death” or “Night of Terror”?

You’re a joke because you decided all that before you read any of the comic (by your own admission you didn’t have a clue what it was). And even more because now you claim to have “skimmed” the comic after you were called out for it, so you could claim to confirm that you were right all along. And yet what does your “informed” opinion now bitch about? You don’t like her colors. You seriously needed to skim the comic to see what her colors are? Silverlay’s a palette swap of Twilight. Really, you needed to skim the comic to notice that too? It has an “edgy” “vibe” to it, and is “corny.” Alright, those you would’ve had to read more than this one fan-art strip to get. And I wouldn’t even say those are unreasonable descriptions. But they’re empty buzzwords you can apply any twist of definition to, every time someone calls you out on the stupidity of what you said. (And what’s edgy-corny? The Three Stooges getting actual injuries?) So all you’re putting forth is the circular argument, “I don’t like it because I don’t like it.” Which is a perfectly good reason not to like it, by the way.
 
So no, you don’t have to like Silverlay. You don’t have to like “Seeds of Darkness.” There’s nothing wrong with not liking them. I’m sure plenty of other people don’t. I didn’t start out commanding you to like Silverlay. I was just pointing out that this isn’t actually the comic series she’s in, because it was painfully obvious from what you said that you didn’t know that. You’re a joke because by your own admission you decided that you didn’t like “Seeds of Darkness” before you read a single strip, but now you’re pretending that there’s something more to it than that. Right above the very evidence that proves there was never anything more to it than that.

So let me get this straight. You’re bitching about the main character in Seeds of Darkness, without even knowing who she is, why she looks a lot like Twilight Sparkle in this scene, or why she’s kissing Applejack? Did you bitch about Queen Chrysalis looking like Princess Cadance too? She even had the same colors as Cadance, a total rip-off! Or did you just see the OC tag here, misunderstand what’s going on, and bitch at your own mistake?
