Yeah, that. All the ponies have joke names, and the mane 6 are redesigned just to avoid any headaches. Hence the whole need for the alt universe world.

I’ve heard that the Monster Girl Quest games have a pretty good storyline too. But they’re more like “Epic Adventure” than Leisure Suit Larry’s comedy, so it’s a bit like apples and oranges. Both fruit, but very different. And both tasty.
Ahh, if it isn’t Tiarawhy herself. (Himself? Sorry, don’t know.) Good to know that you are taking an approach to make it humorous and fun. Unfortunately, I saw from other pictures that suggests this game will include a lot of sex, quite possibly uncensored. My desperation to play other people’s adventure games is temporarily clouding my judgement if I want to see uncensored sex or not. I can assume that you leave nothing to imagination in your works.
Still, I wish you a lot of luck on your project. Take it from me, games take a lot of time and effort to make, so I hope you do well. :)

Actually leisure suit larry became a large part of my inspiration behind the game. As I was designing the area it came to me that having straight up porn in the street made no sense, there would have to be a setup/reason/dialogue to it. Humor is a huge part of the game.
Bingo. LSL games were about humor and wit, first and foremost. Remove that, and you have a dry, husk of a game that satisfy primal urges for a second, but are forgotten later.
yeah, a lot of just straight porn games don’t play well or not well liked. I.E. The Meet N’ Fuck series.

You kidding? I’d love to have a mature title like LSL ponified. But, it has to be a very delicate process. Despite popular belief, LSL wasn’t about the softcore porn it provided. It was to demonstrate the witty prowess of Al Lowe. The first game all the way before the xbox titles had so many funny moments on top of the adult humor. So, the problem is this: Would a renowned porn artist be a suitable choice to write and design an adult humor game? Maybe, but she or anyone else making it should be careful not to make straight up porn. That would just be tasteless.
What? Wouldn’t you love to play Pink’s Quest, or maybe you’re into some mature titles like Leisure suit Pinkie?
