Just saying.

Aria has a much better hair style and a much more adorable personality.

Names and color schemes, yes. For everything else, Trixie plus Tirek would have been more accurate. Starlight Glimmer was as mendacious as she was amoral, and I’m tempted to un-person her (i.e., hide her tag).

I see her as looking more like Aria and Suri. But yeah…the name is very reminiscent of “Sunset Shimmer.” I did love the new episodes, but seriously, Habsro? “Starlight Glimmer”? How many synonyms for “Twilight Sparkle” are you gonna make?
 
At least in Sunset’s case it sorta made sense, since her whole premise was basically an evil Twilight comparable to her in magic but using her magic for evil (and is obviously now reformed.)
 
But Starlight, on the other hand…she’s nothing like Twilight, aside from also being a purple unicorn. That’s about it.
