Well Twilight is wrong sorta. The moon is closer then the sun but it’s still the same relative size/distance required for eclipses. Now, their sun may in fact be smaller and closer then our sun. I mean the smallest star in the universe and still be a star can fit inside Jupiter. After a google search I found out what it was and it’s 2MASS J0523-1403
 
There’s also 2 more things. Hand this guy over to discord and just watch him try to figure out chaos theory Discord Style! Cause with Discord BOTH of them can and will be wrong if he wants a good laugh. So maybe Equestria is like the giant turtle from discworld. It’s all flat, not round.

Actually, come to think of it, they’d have to be able to control the moon as well as the planet, but that’s still much easier than a star probably hundreds of thousands of times the size of the planet at least.

Here’s a hypothesis: what if sunbutt and moonbutt just have the ability to stop their planet from spinning? Though managing an entire planet might be too much, so they could just use their horse magic to make everyone think that they’re affecting the sun and moon when they’re really just master cons.

It annoys me when people bring someone (usually Anon) into Equestria to prove the world is heliocentric. We got to see Twilight screw up switching from night to day, and have seen Nightmare Moon stop dawn from happening. It’s pretty clearly geocentric.

Twilight’s model is both correct and to scale. ;) The sun and moon are actually that close to and that small compared to the planet she lives on.
