That’s a little troubling, as it suggests that Spike will not be included in any of the “Map Quest” episodes.

I certainly hope not. At BABSCon last year he said that he found Spike hard to write for because he’s “generic.” Polsky is the only one of the writers who seem to understand Spike.

I think if by some unholy coincidence the episode actually follows the premise that I proposed, then I imagine the most likely scenario would be that Spike would mess up at the beginning because he’ll be going through the whole “what would Twilight do?” mentality. Only afterwards would he realize that he needs to stop trying to emulate someone he’s not and take charge as the resourceful and unique individual he can be, and turn things around in the end.
 
That sounds a little too good to ever be true though, so it’s probably just gonna be a “let’s laugh at Spike because he’s girly and screws up everything” episode.

Basically Ep9/overall Ep 100, we knew the details long ago, and also given that “slice of life” is thrown around both by staff and fandom for non-adventure episodes. Yes, if it is named that, that starts to validate the list, but there’s only a handful of titles that make sense for this episode.
 
It’s all subsequent episodes we don’t know and so if the list hits ep 10 right, that’s a really good sign.

Hw do you know it’s a free space? Also anything can happen for this episode, heck maybe even a whole 3 spaces could be filled in the bingo card.

Ep 9 is our “free space” as we know that’s ep 100 and going to involve the BG ponies. Ep 10 will be the first cincher.

Okay, so G4 Spike is continuing the dream G3 Spike had, to one day become a princess.

I wonder if Mitch Larson is writing the Princess Spike episode.

More evidence the “leak” might be real.  
I’m interested to see how this develops.

Where are these cards coming from, anyways? I’ve only seen five or six of them. Surely someone has at least photographed the entire set?

That’d be interesting. Twilight is off map questing while Spike remains in Ponyville holding down the fort, when something comes up that demands attention. Being Twilight’s assistant for years, Spike is the most qualified to substitute for her. Or so they thought.

Either that or the “leaker” used this card as reference for his “leak”.
 
As it stands right now, the “leak” is still unconfirmed until Zap2It posts episode 9’s information.

There’s a possibility suggested that eps 8 (griffonstone) 9 (slice of life/background pony ep), and 1-2 others all are “simultaneous” episodes like Games Ponies Play/Just for Sidekicks are. The Mane 6 are off on map quests, Spike is alone and thus is the Princess of Friendship for the day, and the events of the Slice of Life episode happen alongside all this.

We gonna find out he actually dragon royalty or some ish?
