From what the author has on the description two pages ago, the lie he told was just the first ‘crack’ in their relationship. They both continued to have a long distance relationship, but eventually it just didn’t work out.
 
I think this is more shock rather than being angry. Its apparent enough by this page that they were still on good terms. And perhaps @Background Pony #84B8 is right, and that she had a glimmer of hope of reigniting that spark.

Jealousy most likely. By the looks of it, this takes place at least a year from when they broke up, probably enoigh time for them to bury the hatchet and be friends again. Perhaps she had a little glimmer of hope they could get back together and the news that he’s engaged is a punch in the chest for her. That’s just my theory.
