Actually, Luna gets quite a bit of screen time, but nearly none outside of dreams. Other than token appearances “in group of princesses”, and a single non-dream appearance with Sweetie+Sapphire Shores episode, she appears only in dreams. We have no clue what she does while awake.

Which is sad, I wouldn’t mind an episode especially dedicated for Celestia.  
But I’m just saying, instead of cramming in episodes which are just repeats  
of previous lessons they could expand on the characters themselves.
