As far as we know dragon cause there’s no other report of there being another alicorn that lived longer or as long then Celestia and Luna.

out of curiosity, in fantasy what is known to live longer, an alicorn or a dragon.

Spike should still be there. He’s a dragon. Easily one of the longest lived creatures in fantasy.

It’s a moot point since ponies, like small children, have no concept of historical time. Anything that happened before living memory occurred “a thousand years ago”, and anything that only the oldest of ponies can remember seeing must obviously have happened “centuries ago”.
 
Granny Smith is older than Ponyville, having witnessed its founding, which means the town is only 2-3 pony generations old, which may only be a few decades. And Celestia and Luna aren’t necessarily eternally ageless, they’re just far older than any other ponies and so everyone just assumes they’re immortal. Luna’s banishment may have only been for a few generations, just long enough for ponies to forget she was an actual person and not the mythical Nightmare Moon.

Excellent point. Don’t forget that Pinkie loves her life and would love for it to continue eternally. Fluttershy might not like the attention, but I’m not sure she’d rather grow old and die either (she does seem like she’d fear death quite a bit). That leaves everyone but Applejack, who is too awesome to die won’t have as many objections considering her best friends will be immortal with her and seems emotionally stable enough to manage anyway.

Still don’t think that outliving someone is that big of a problem. As you said yourself, Luna and Celestia are ok.  
By the way, why no one was worried about Spike outliving them all? Then BAM, Twilicorn and shit hits the fan.

I think her comment was quiet clear.  
Ponyville was found by earth ponies and for centuries they don’t used magic to clear winter.  
It’s only about Ponyville not about other cities and Twilight is too a bookworm to not know the history.

The full quotation from “Winter Wrap-Up” is: “Ponyville was started by Earth Ponies, for hundreds of years they’ve never used magic to clean up winter.” I don’t think it’s really a major error - it’s entirely possible that Twilight was somewhat ignorant of the town’s history, or that she meant that Earth Ponies in general haven’t used magic to clean up winter for hundreds of years, rather than Ponyville ponies specifically.

To your question about all of them becoming alicorns. I don’t think they’d want that cause if they do become alicorns then they will watch their children and grandchildren and so on and so forth will be to much to bare so I doubt they’ll want to become alicorns

In Winter Wrap Up ep. Twilight said that Ponyville is centuries old and in Family Appreciation Day we learned that Granny was the founder of the city.  
So guess magical ponies life is quiet long.

I think she is about 90-100 years.  
She was about the same age as AJ when they’ve come to that place.  
The guy who started selling their zap apple jam was Filthy Rich’s father. And Rich himself is either in his late thirties or early forties.  
So that is not 200-300 years.
