Children of the Night takes a song from the movie ‘Hokus Pokus’  
The song itself, is ment to lure in kids to three witches, so that they can eat them.  
Soooo.. maybe it’s all just so that Luna can have her own personal feast!

My comment was meant to be taken as a joke. However, most OCs I’ve seen tend to run the generic gambit, though I will recognize the real gems that spring. This picture here is definitely one of them, and is quite amazing.
 
I don’t mind OCs, only when they tend to be your black fur, red mane, part dragon, bat-winged alicorns and the like.
