Get what? You made a statement declaring that a lot of people on Tumblr are toxic and (apparently?) agreeing with the image that it’s okay to cut them out of one’s life, and I pointed out that A: it’s a lot easier to actually do that now since Tumblr made their Block feature more useful; and B: most of the people who complain about whatever is happening on Tumblr are not in fact doing so because they want to cut that thing (or the people responsible) out of their lives, but because “complaining about Tumblr” was their only goal all along. I was agreeing with you that Tumblr is full of toxic crap, and suggesting that “blocking it” is a better course of action than “complaining about it”.

What “y’all” what group? 4chan is a mass amalgamation of people from all over the world.
 
Also why? What concern is there in what some people think about the place or the users? If someone wants to look at the “shitbags” as an indication of the behavior of the userbase for a place as big as 4chan, then it’s that their problem? They choose to not go to the site, lurk through the threads, nor bother to learn about the place and it’s rules and community, so why is it “our” problem to solve?  
IMO, it’s kind of a good thing because it keeps the people who would do that out of 4chan.

As I was implying above, why does this matter? In the eyes of some we are already seen as that so what does it matter since it’s not like you can purge the idea, and are the opinions of others that much of a bearing on your enjoyment of the show or the fan-made content? And like I said before, if someone chose to make generalizations base on such a small fraction of the fandom then it’s their problem, I know it’s not the case, you know it’s not, and if they make that claim public there will be those who will challenge it.
